ASA Midwest Tour Star Ross Kenseth to Visit MMS
Marshfield, WI; August 4, 2010 – Fans at Marshfield Motor Speedway will have the chance to view one of the hottest young drivers in America this Saturday, August 7th. ASA Midwest Tour star driver Ross Kenseth will be competing against Marshfield’s very own Super Late Model stars! Kenseth, driver of the #25 Blain’s Farm & Fleet Ford Fusion/Pathfinder Chassis, won his first career ASAMT race earlier this year at the Elko (MN) 100.
The 2010 Rookie of the Year contender from Spring Valley, IL will be making his first trip to Marshfield Motor Speedway in preparation for the Marshfield 100 ASAMT race penciled for August 21st. When asked about Kenseth’s appearance at Marshfield Motor Speedway, track GM/Promoter Wayne Brevik said, “this is a great opportunity for the race fans of Central Wisconsin to see one of the best young talents in America. This young talent has pure driving skills and will prove to be a test for our local hot shoes.” Brevik further stated, “Anytime you get a driver of Ross’s caliber at Marshfield, it should prove to be very exciting for the fans with two and three wide racing.”
The son of former NASCAR champion Matt Kenseth, the Generation 3 Motorsports team driver Ross Kenseth also has notched a win at Winchester in a CRA event.
