Fairchild, WI, August 8, 2012 – Race fans will be treated to an added date of the ASA SCAG Power Equipment Midwest Tour Truck Series, which will be added to the schedule on August 18, 2012.

In what is one of the closes point battles in Midwest Tour Truck Series history, James Swan holds a slim 2 point advantage over John Wood.  Swan, who has earned five top 5 finishes this year, is looking to notch his first win of the 2012 season this weekend at Norway (MI).  Jerry Wood is sitting in third place, currently, just 17 points back of the leader Swan.  Jerry Wood relishes racing at Marshfield Motor Speedway as he always runs well there.  With a win and 3 top five finishes this year, Dan Barber is just one point behind Jerry Wood, in the fourth position.  Holding down the fifth place in the ASA Midwest Tour Truck Series, and having a great year, is Chad Knaus.  Knaus has earned three top 5 finishes this year and is only 26 points out of the top spot!  Marshfield Motor Speedway Promoter Wayne Brevik stated, “With all these drivers always doing well at Marshfield, and with Norway coming up on Saturday, I believe the championship chase will be even tighter after Marshfield.”
