Limited Late Models, Pure Stock Invitational, Pie Eating Contest Highlight Marshfield Motor Speedway this Saturday Night!
Fairchild, WI, July 20, 2012 – Limited Late Models are back again this Saturday night at Marshfield Motor Speedway. This division of drivers always put on a great show for the fans with some very close, side by side racing. Also competing this Saturday night at Marshfield Motor Speedway will be the Pure Stock Inviational. Drivers will be tuning up their cars this Saturday night for Wisconsin State Championship to be held at Marshfield during the Fall Shootout.
CWSSA Super Stocks, CWMSA 4-Cylinders, and Bandits will also be competing on the famed half-mile paved oval. Natalie Decker, Claire Decker and Brian Weinfurter will lead the way in the super stock division. Steve and Derk Hauser lead the way in points for the 4-cylinders, but Charlie Nickel has been strong lately and will compete against the top 4-cylinder drivers for the top spot in the feature event. Randy Polansky, Christine Schmude and others have in the bandit division always put on a great show for the Marshfield fans!
Don’t miss the Pie Eating contest this Saturday night during intermission! All point leaders, other track officials, and one lucky fan will be competing in the pie eating contest. If you were lucky enough to see this event last year, you witness ten people getting a face full of pie, with flagman Patrick Barrett finishing his pie first in record time! After the races, don’t miss Karaoke in the Speedway Bar.
Pit gates open at 3 pm, fan gates open at 4:30, qualifying is at 5 pm, with the exciting racing beginning at 6:30 pm. Admission is just $10 for adults 15 and older, $6 for students 9 to 14, and children 8 and under are always free at Marshfield Motor Speedway.
