BROCK SCHWARZENBACHER SCORES MOTORCYCLE FEATURE WIN AT MARSHFIELD MOTOR SPEEDWAY!

Marshfield, WI: July 3, 2010 – Motorcycle racing continued here Saturday night at Marshfield Motor Speedway as seven two-wheeled warriors put on a 15-lap feature event. Most of the regular riders were here tonight along with national rider, Brock Schwarzenbacher of Beaver Dam, WI.
In heat action, Granton’s Craig Lewis held Schwarzenbacher’s pace and put up a big charge on the last lap, however, Lewis just come up inches short of the win.
The field was set for the feature and at the green flag, the crew blasted their way into turn one like there was no tomorrow. Schwarzenbacher held the point on his Honda, however, Hatley’s Steve Kasten tucked under him going into turn three to take over the race lead. Craig Lewis had a miscue coming off turn two that placed him near the rear of the field. However, Lewis was able to put his head down and marched towards the front. Marshfield front-runner Cliff Eckes, Jr. ran into tire issues and faded from the front trio as his front wheel slipped repeatedly in mid corner. Lewis made it past Eckes and started reeling in Kasten and Schwarzenbacher, however, the laps ran out before he could get close enough to make a move. Meanwhile, up front, the young Schwarzenbacher studied the lines of the more experienced Kasten, and shot by Kasten at the last possible moment going down the backstretch.
