Polansky & Eckes Score Feature Wins at MMS
Fairchild, WI, (July 25, 2013) – Thursday Night Thunder proved to be just that tonight at Marshfield Motor Speedway! If you are thinking about Mother Nature, yes, we did have a few claps of her thunder! However, most of the thunder came from MMS as the X-Treme 4-Cylinders and the Bandits took to the track tonight.
Adam Eckes currently rides atop of the point standings in the X-Treme 4’s division. Eckes earned fast time honors tripping the clock fastest at 21.908 seconds.
Once the feature of 20 laps took the green, it was Gilman’s Steve Hauser jumping out to the early lead. Hauser built up a sizable lead and led the way the first 13 laps. One lap later, it was Eckes working his way under Hauser for the race lead. Hauser fought back and the two drivers raced side by side for four laps. Once Tim Anderson took over the third spot, and closed in on the two leaders, Eckes darted by Hauser, as did Tim Anderson. With Eckes and Anderson running first and second respectively, Steve Hauser dropped back 5 car lengths. In race end, it was Adam Eckes holding off Tim Anderson for the feature win! Steve Hauser, in a single cam X-Treme 4-Cylinder, finished a strong third, with Phil Malouf and Dale Robinson rounding out the top five.
Steve Hauser and Adam Eckes were the X-Treme 4-Cylinder heat winners, here tonight at Marshfield Motor Speedway.
In Bandit action, it was Randy Polansky leading the way, leading all 15 laps in the Bandit Feature. Polansky received several challenges from Kevin Burris, but to no avail. Polansky went on to get the feature win with Burris running second and Eric Robinson finishing third. Nikki Coulhurst and Phil Malouf rounded out the top five respectively. Polansky also pocketed the heat win in the Bandit division.
Racing will continue on August 3rd as it is Joshua’s Camp Night at the speedway.
