Wayne Elmhorst (#88) won his first Junkyard Warrior feature event.

The CarQuest super late model feature was led for the first half by Dean LaPointe, in his new machine. Behind LaPointe, John Totzke Jr. battled with Jim Cormack and Monte Gress over the second spot. By lap three, Jeremy Switlick had brought his machine up into the fourth position, and the next lap overtook Gress for third. Switlick quickly moved in to challenge Totzke for second and pulled ahead on lap seven. Now Switlick had to catch LaPointe. Lap 12, the new leader was Switlick, who began to pull away from the field. LaPointe held onto the second spot, until Gregorich passed him on lap16. Switlick, now with a strong lead ahead of the pack, did not want to see the caution fly on lap 19, for an incident in turn two. Switlick led the field on the point, with Gregorich, LaPointe, fast timer Jay VanDerGeest and Ben Pettis doubling up behind him. Switlick took the green, and again put a bit of distance between himself and the rest of the field. Gregorich continued in second, until VanDerGeest began to battle him for the spot, taking it on lap 22. VanDerGeest struggled with mechanical problems as the field received the white flag, but was able to maintain his position. Jeremy Switlick won his first super late model feature win, and the award from Krings Motorsports. VanDerGeest second, Gregorich third, Pettis fourth and Chris Weinkauf fifth.

Jimmy Ganski led the first seven laps of the 16 car field CarQuest super stock feature. Adam Eckes raced in second for the first two laps, until losing the spot to Travis Zvolena. The battled ensued over the third spot between Eckes and Mike Gwidt. The first caution flew on lap seven, for a safety issue. The field regrouped doubled up behind Ganski. Zvolena took the lead for the next lap, with Brian Back hot on his heels for the lead. Rick Grunden quickly moved through the field and was third by lap ten. Lap 11, Back passed Zvolena for the lead. Lap 12 the battle was for second between Zvolena and Grunden, contact between the two sent Zvolena’s car into the outside wall, and bringing out the caution. Grunden took the blame for the incident, however Zvolena was unable to continue the race. Back restarted the field, Gwidt racing strong in second, Randy Emmerich steadily raced to the front, now third. Brian Weinfurter started 14th, and was up into the fourth spot. Adam Krzykowski and Ganski were racing over the fifth spot. On the white flag lap, Grunden was back to the middle of the pack, and in the mix over the fifth spot. Contact between Grunden and Krzykowski brought out the caution, ending the race. Back won, taking the Beway Race Products award and his second RZ Builders Super Stock Triple Challenge feature win. Gwidt second, Emmerich third, Weinfurter fourth and Ganski fifth.

Eleven cyclists challenged the clock in qualifying, with Ringle’s Mark Zeidler bringing his 450 Honda framer in fastest with a 21.150 lap. His brother TJ kept the Zeidler name out front for all six laps in the first heat, holding off West Bend’s Danny Vrana for the victory. In the second heat fast qualifier Mark Zeidler led the pack on lap one, but Rib Lake’s Brad Seavers slipped under him in turn three and held off the persistent attacks of Zeidler and Steve Kasten for a well deserved victory. The stage was set for a very exciting ten lap main event. At the start Brad Seavers got the jump on the field and led for the first lap but Mark Zeidler would not be denied, relegating Seavers to second place. Once in the lead, Zeidler gapped the rest of the pack, while Seavers fell under attack from Steve Kasten, who used a low line to wrestle the second spot from Seavers. Local rider Cliff Eckes Jr. came home 4th. But once again Mark Zeidler showed his mastery of the blacktop with another win.

The junkyard warrior feature was led by Wayne Elmhorst. Matt Phelps raced second for two laps, until Kyle Ramussen overtook the spot. Lap three the caution was out for contact between Jonathan Zuelke and Phelps, Phelps took the blame for the incident, and Zuelke was able to keep his third place position. Marc Baldwin pulled ahead of Rasmussen for second on lap four, but Rasmussen re-claimed the spot for the remainder of the race. Baldwin and Zuelke began a battle over the third position, with Zuelke taking it at the checkered. Elmhorst won, picking up his first ever feature win, Rasmussen second, Zuelke third, Baldwin fourth and Phelps fifth.
